I used this chart just last week to date some of my 1950s S-O stuff.I found a Craftsman-dating article online. Will send you the link when i find it.
Thanks; this will come in handy. I found something online that says the "E" and "G" in 1944 and 1945 stand for "Emergency" and "Government," I suppose for wartime production.
