No worries, Mr. G! We in the US can look forward to going back to the Good Old Days! Why just this last week our Supreme Court started paving the way for the President to do away with the Consumer Products Safety Commission. Who needs these pesky standards on stuff we purchase? I mean, for example, why shouldn't any company just be able to put Lithium Ion cells into any whatever container and not have to adhere to some standard so that said container doesn't catch fire? Apologies for my cynical and sarcastic demeanor. It is a beautiful Mid Summer day outside and I promise to go enjoy it so that I can then be just as happy as a random Canadian!
