Some kinda hook...

I can't figure this one out.

  1. That's no hook. It's not even manmade! That is a fossil skull of Gryphus tribeakularium misterG-ia, a short-lived fence-sitter from the epoch in which land dinosaurs and proto-chickens first diverged. For all that the species tried as earnestly as any other to reproduce and thrive, its total population is thought never to have exceeded thirty or forty over a 30,000-year survival span.
