My dad had a Beach cantilever side box that he got at the flea market for a few bucks. I put it on the side of my box as I used to have it screwed in the side of my workbench. Im gonna keep my eyes open for the side cabinet. Also cleaned out the old Snap On quite a bit. Both look much better. Might have to get a bit bigger box as my collection of tools keeps growing. Probably the B20. Both clasps were missing, a third of the hinge separated from the lid, rust all around. I had to replace the clasps with good, but Chinese-made ones. Still strong, but heavy af. Since it's so heavy, I use it to store larger tools that don't fit in my plastic one.

But toolboxes were not the only products manufactured by Beach. I also happen to have a Beach-branded gas stove, bare-bones unit (not even a light). Only that it's branded "Beach Foundry, Ottawa", and not "Beach Industries, Smith Falls". Is one a subsidiary of the other, or are they two unrelated companies?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2693775542020483450.post-65970416018068216562021-06-13T08:00:45.158-04:002021-06-13T08:00:45.158-04:00That's the right attitude! That's the right attitude!Mister Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17663484841011868779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2693775542020483450.post-52067166051056164692021-06-13T02:15:14.707-04:002021-06-13T02:15:14.707-04:00Not long ago I bought a old mechanic's toolbox...Not long ago I bought a old mechanic's toolbox for $200 it's a 4 drawer beach rollcab and a 70 year old snap on top chest.
It's awesome.
