1947 Labatt Streamliner

This promotional postcard is nearly 30 years old, picked up at an event where the truck was being displayed. For a few years after the restoration was completed in 1984, this truck was displayed at many events around the country including Expo 86. 

More than once I saw it driving down the 401, beautiful but startling to say the least!
 Apparently it toured the country again for the winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2002. When I saw it recently on the highway it was being hauled on a float. It was a little sad.
