CWS, a Polish Indian?
In my pile of old motorcycle magazines I discovered a Ride and Glide dated January 1985, turns out it was the introductory issue of this (presumably defunct) Swedish chopper magazine.
No idea where it came from- I was never one to collect that sort of thing but I flipped through typical Harley chopper articles till I saw this Indian motor. It didn't look quite right (finned cases?) but the caption underneath explained that it is actually a 1936 or 37 CWS, a prewar Polish brand. The design was from 1931, patterned after the American bikes of the time, the engine based on an Indian Chief motor but according to the Wikipedia page the bike itself was more Harley Davidson. WW2 ended the venture.
