One of my vices is vises: Deeland Tools

Photographed at a local auction.  I can't find any information on this company.  Perhaps the name was just slapped on vises made by someone else.

I discovered that one of my coping saws is also marked "Deeland":

On the web, you can find people advertising a variety of tools with this name, including hand braces, pliers, hand grinders and tape measures.  Someone suggests that they were a Japanese company.
