J. P. Morgan owned 4 yachts named Corsair, this was the final one. Launched in Bath Me. in 1930, Morgan owned it till 1940 when it was turned over to the British for war service. After the war it was converted to a luxury cruise ship. in 1949 she struck a rock near Acapulco and was declared a total loss.
