Vosper Torpedo boats

The Vosper MTB was a WW2 British torpedo boat, 73 feet long and powered by three Packard V12s. With its planing type hull, it was capable of a speed of 40 knots.
At the beginning of the war the British Vosper company was unable to meet demand for these boats, they contracted out to two American boat companies, the Annapolis Yacht Yard and the Harbour Boat Building of Terminal Island, California. By the end of the war they were being built by 12 manufacturers and 311 had been built.
There were many variants, shown is the Type II with two torpedo tubes and a 6 pounder gun which was introduced mid-war.
