The vessel being launched in August of 1900. It stuck fast in the mud and finally floated after waiting two weeks for a high tide. There doesn't seem to be photographs of that predicament. 
The Thomas S. Dennison foundered 100 miles south of Pensacola Florida, January 3, 1913.
