Brades cleaver

My grandfather had a restaurant in Toronto, and this is the butcher's cleaver he used in the kitchen:

Brades Forge (William Hunt & Sons) of Birmingham was eventually rolled into Brades & Nash Tyzack (BNT).  Founded in 1780 but long gone now.  See my previous posts on Pickaxes and Mattocks and on BNT.
