Sinking of the Lusitania

The Germans struck this medal, over two inches in diameter, to commemorate their sinking of the Lusitania, the date shown on the medal is two days earlier than the date of the event. The reverse shows a large number of people queuing to buy tickets from a skeleton behind a Cunard Line booking office counter. 
The wording translates to 'No contraband goods" and "The liner Lusitania sunk by a German submarine 5 May 1915
The lettering on the reverse consists of "Cunard Line" over the figure of Death and "fahrkarten ausgabe" " (ticket-office) with "Gesheft wher alles" (Business above all). around the edge of the design. More here.   Imperial War Museum
