We used to make things in this country, #176 Lee Enfield No 4 Mk1








Just another one of probably a million rifles that were produced at the Long Branch Arsenal in Etobicoke. Small quantities compared to the grand total of Lee Enfield-type rifles produced world wide- estimated to be more than 17 million.  The Long Branch plant was in operation from June 1941 till June 1976.
