Jet-powered Lancaster bomber



After WW2 Avro Canada tested jet turbine engines with this modified Mk X Lancaster. I wonder how well the plane worked with these enhancements and wish they'd kept it!

    I'll bet this was a testbed for powerplants for the Avro Jetliner.
