I suppose that obliteration as scrap metal might be a worse fate, but the tractor's fate as pictured is pretty awful.
As lawn ornaments go, it makes a singularly ugly one. It's enough to make one wish for a 'fat lady bending over', or a good old-fashioned gnome or flock of pink flamingos.
