BSA Model J12

The motorcycle in the picture, a 500 cc BSA V-twin, is quite rare and I can't help wondering what became of it.

    What became of it?
    It was a very sad story.
    It was passed at high speed by a covey of MAC Velocettes and threw itself off a bridge...
