Union Hdw hacksaw

I haven't bought a new hacksaw in years, I find that any modern frame just falls apart, usually in the first or second use. Instead I look for old saws at flea markets and used tool shops. This one, of unknown age was made by Union Hardware of Torrington Conn. 
It cost a few dollars at Liberty Tool in Maine and has served me well for about a decade. A quick google of Union Hdw. produced a good concise history of the company, find it here.
