Radlett 1946

Flight International photo

The British Aircraft Constructors display at the Radlett Air Show in 1946. The second plane on the left in the second row next to the Bristol Freighter is a Lancaster converted to jet power for testing. The Radlett show replaced the Hendon Air show and has evolved into the Farnborough Airshow.
