  1. 'Interesting that there's no French equivalent for 'sidecar', other than 'side-car'. I even tried Google Translate just now, and the French for 'sidecar' is 'side-car'. I thought the French were touchy about that sort of thing.

  2. I thought so too! But maybe its getting more relaxed. In recent visit to France I found stop signs have STOP on them and not ArrĂȘt. Apparently only Quebec insists on the French word for stop.
