"The Ultimate" Valve Spring Compressor: H.D. Smith & Co., Plantsville, Connecticut

A lovely tool that's now just a decoration in my shop. Unfortunately, it's missing the cam lever that would bring it back to life (even if it wouldn't actually work with any of my motorcycle engines).  I may get around to making one up anyway.  Below, from the web:

According to its Wikipedia entry, the H.D. Smith Building is still standing and was purchased in 2015 to be re-purposed as a high-end whiskey and bourbon distillery.
