They were still made as late as 1961. That is all I know.I have a book that details all Japanese vehicles made in 1961 and it is in there. Daihatsu made similar looking trucks but the grill on this one is Mazda.
Actually,I now see that if you enlarge the photo you can read Mazda on the front above the grill! Thanks for a great photo.
