de Havilland Mosquito fuselage

The de Havilland Mosquito was of wooden composite construction, an inner and outer plywood skin separated by a balsa wood core resulting in a rigid and light structure. The fuselage was laid up over forms, either wood or poured concrete and was made in left and right sections. Most of the
internal details, wiring, cables and mechanical linkages were installed before the two halves were glued together.
