Love that windshield. I'm thinking it's a motorhome with a bunk over the cockpit and an entry door left-rear. Would sure make a great (but probably not financially justifiable) resto-update project. Imagine that thing in it's brand-spankin'-new glory, with a couple of AC units and a satellite antenna on the roof?
my brother in law bought a 1976 diesel pusher about 10 or more years ago and turned it into an awesome motor home. Here's link to his multiple youtubes on it. Gutted in the interior, built in bunk beds, lighting, kitchen you name it. I had a 27' tow behind trailer and we had a lot of fun going places when all the kids were young. That bus never failed to attract a lot of attention though!
The windshield is reminiscent of the PCC trolley car. I think this one is beyond recovery, but with a modern driveline, it would be a heck of a vehicle.
