 Batteriezündanlagen fur Kraftfahrzeug.  Kinda' says it all, translated it's "battery ignition systems for motor vehicles".

    That poster in English is about as precise and concise a course in points ignition as one would ever need.
    Im pretty sure that my 1962 Volvo had the same as in the German illustration.
