CNR No. 15816
Ordered by the Grand Trunk Railway, delivered in 1923 after the Canadian National had taken it over, the gasoline powered 15816 was used as a light duty commuter train between Hamilton and Toronto, usually run on the lower traffic Saturdays. The engine compartment certainly looks like an afterthought. It was not particularly successful and was tried on other secondary passenger runs in southern Ontario but spent most of the depression years laid up, finally being scrapped in 1941.
