I still see the [very] occasional 124, but I haven't seen an 850 in 4 decades. I thought the jokes about biodegradability were just jokes.
I rescued the seats (at different times) from dead Fiat Spiders in the late seventies for use in van projects, never gave a thought to the rest of the car- which would have been less than 10 years old at the time. I'd rather be playing tennis. ;-)
