Lever Wrench

Another great idea in adjustable wrenches...

  1. Seems like a good idea as well as a great one.

The Lever Company was situated next to the Mulberry Street Abyss, all that remained of an earlier venture called the Fulcrum Factory.

  2. I looked at the address, whatever was there in 1900 is long gone.

  3. I note that there's a Lever Manufacturing Company located in Mahwah, NJ, which is about 30 miles north of Newark. According to their website, they've been in business over 990 years. Of course I'm wondering if it's the same company.

  4. Opps, a typo! Of course I meant to say 90 years, not 990!

  5. It's a kind of Vise-Grip, but built around a standard "auto" wrench, of which many clutter up the consignment shops and antique markets.
