I worked on some of those, they were very antiquated.
Except the GM Hydramatic tranmission!
Were they using GM transmissions that far back? The only Rolls I've driven [/humblebrag] had one, but it was a '74.rdguy
Seems like they used the Hydramatic right from the beginning. I actually expected the Powerglide to have been the first GM auto transmission!
