I had that very model when I was in high school in the late 60's. Mine was black. You couldn't kill that thing. I was a chubby kid and I was always almost wringing the throttle off in the quest for more power. I'd check the oil once a year and it was always empty. I eventually sold it to a friend and it caught fire on him. Probably because he put oil in it. Oil IS flammable you know...
