It's cool because the body is chrome plated vs the typical satin finish. There are a couple of them on eBay with pics of the box and instruction sheet but neither give any indication of who made them. There's also no mention of a friction thimble in the instructions, so it may be fake. I have a couple of off-brand mics with fake friction thimbles.
The chrome finish is exactly why I question the quality. I've not seen that name before, nothing on the back either. I'm surprised it's been around for 40 plus years, I was thinking Asian manufacture... of course 40 years is only 1982, sigh....
I worked in a commercial print shop for 40 years and we had one of that brand to check paper thickness with. It was accurate enough for that.
