A cross section model of a prewar car from Japan, not much info available, not sure if this is an actual car, or a simplified representation intended as a teaching aid.
That is a really nice model. Somehow late last night I was able to find it in a pdf catalog from a museum in China but I'm unable to duplicate that search so I can't post a link to the document. I did save the image file of the one page I extracted to run it through google translate (the entire document was too large to translate) and here is that image:

Translated, it says:
"Generations of transmission: Chengdu University's ancient manual mechanism model exhibition Exhibition Period: From November 2007 to June 2009"
