According to Vintagemachine.org , William P. Davis manufactured key seating machines, drill presses and lathes under several company names in the Rochester NY area from about 1880 to his death in 1904. This wrench would probably date from the period between 1904, when the company operated as W.P. Davis and 1914, when it was sold and renamed the Davis Machine Tool Co.
