This is an impressively large set of slip-joint pliers, with size 11 shoe for scale. It features a positive but not very convenient pivot adjustment. Definitely looks blacksmith made, on the handle is stamped P.D. Hart, likely the owner.
Dave, it seems we did more research on the first post! In my defence, it was 5 years ago- and besides, this was entirely a different tool- found in Maine. Thanks for finding that and pointing it out BTW.
