Did the builder/racer lace up a smaller-dia. front rim (e.g., to enquicken the steering)? Or is the front fender scrounged from another bike? Or did Capriolo put one fender design on a range of bikes, including one with a bigger wheel? Not that I mean to carp; it's an elegant li'l whippet of a bike. Thankew, Mr G.
