They have been cleaned ultrasonically, but that doesn't really remove staining etc, I'll get into the bowls and inside the body with a toothbrush and soap/water. The bike is intended as a rider, so the outside I'm not too bothered with, the crap alloy is not too bad for being 50 plus years old.

I am superstitious about isolating one carb's internal doodads from the other individual doodad assemblages. (To say it more clearly: I do keep each carb's constituents unto themselves.) But then I'm a lousy, lousy mechanic.
