Downtown Toronto 1929

A Ford Model A travelling north on Yonge St. turns left (west) in front of us onto a street that doesn't exist today. The only thing recognizable today is the Pantages Theater sign. The theatre is still called the Pantages, but with Honest Ed Mirvish's name on it.

 A rabbit hole... where did the "Pantages" theatre name come from?
