What a crazy spectacular car. 

The 1.5 liter Coventry Climax engine was tilted 17 degrees to lower the center of gravity. The Lotus designed transaxle with limited slip diff and 5 speed sequential shift (like a motorcycle) was known as the Queerbox and was not known for reliability. 28 cars were built.
