Pavesi A/S Multi-Wheel Drive Experimental Tractor

Pavesi was an Italian company known for their articulated 4WD agricultural P4 tractor that was adapted to military use as an artillery towing tractor. The P4 (below) was introduced in 1918 and rubber tire versions were used into WW2.
This formidable looking eight wheel drive articulated device must have been a development of that concept, though I can find little information online.

I don't quite understand the point of sites like the above, or Pinterest,
That accumulate images with no context whatsoever. Am I missing something ?

So I've finally found out what inspired the nose on the Studebaker Champion!

Replying to JP, I can understand your comment but sometimes you come across an image that has no accompanying explanation but still want to remember and record that image and so it continues to be circulated with no context. At least the image doesn't get lost and others can have fun researching if they wish.

Yeah the nose on that thing is bizarre, and (probably) predates jet engines too!
