One hundred seventy six Duplex Drive tanks were launched on D-Day: One hundred twenty one made it to shore. Many more were brought ashore by eight hundred thirty Landing Craft, Tank. LCTs generally carried ten tanks though many carried a few as four. That's a lot of armour.

Snap On date reference chart
I suspect everyone (except me) already knew about this reference chart, I wish Craftsman had done something like this.
Peck, Stow & Wilcox nippers
Here's a pair of end nippers from PS&W. The company was known for their sheetmetal equipment and imaginatively blended their names into Pexto in the 1920s. Previous post here.

Pietenpol Air Camper.
Between the wars, home builders were looking for an affordable engine to build an aircraft around. It was generally thought that a car engine would be too heavy and underpowered but Bernie Pietenpol tested the Ford Model A in 1928 and built this parasol type two seater around it. The engine was mounted backwards, that is the propeller replaced the flywheel on the end of the crankshaft. The radiator was mounted up in the airflow, right in the pilots view. The forty or so horsepower was enough to move two people through the air at about 60 mph. The company is still around today.

Lost in the 80s....
77 Pontiac Ventura. Lost in the 80s.
Fat white letter tires, G60-14! Last of the bias belted tires!
Easter egg colour paint,
Colourful graphics, neon pink underglow,
everything works (mostly).
All that's missing is your mullet and the disco tapes.
