Here's a nice big 24 inch pipe wrench with no markings except a square on the handle which may or may not be a logo. Guesses?Anyone recognize the tool?
Update, possibly a wrench by Oswego, third one down. (Thanks Dave!) I like that the individual parts are available.

If I had to guess I would go with this Oswego in the center of the page and it probably had a wooden handle. But I would want to look for clues on the other side of the wrench and along the adjusting rack:

Nothing on the other side either, the picture i took was too blurry to use. That Oswego wrench does look very similar. I'll add that link to the post, thanks!
ReplyDeleteI've seen other unmarked Stillson-style wrenches on ebay (that Google Lens won't find for me today) that the square recess had the wrench length imprinted in it.
I saw a couple of those too but the square with the wrench length was on the moveable jaw and not the handle.
ReplyDeleteFunny how google images gives me different results depending on the device I'm using, time of day, and the weather.

ReplyDelete48" wrench, complete is more than 32 & 3/4 pounds. You won't have to worry about losing it and nobody is going to take that and be able to hide it?
