Masonry hammer

 


Just an old masonry hammer in for rehandling.This type of head is used to texture concrete or soft stone. I carved up the handle from a scrap of hickory left over from making an axe handle.

    What's the knob about ? Does the face come off ?

    That's cool; I've seen the roller type but not a hammer. I assume, like JP asked, the pin holds an interchangeable face in place?

    Yes the face is a separate piece, pinned in place. I've never tried to remove it.
