Why does it have rubber feet on the face? Who is Sears?
A moment of silence for my former employer, Sears... The rubber buttons, I can only figure they foresaw that the home handyman that bought this unit would end up pulling it off the bench...
Maybe you laid it face-down on the rubber feet to stop the switches being accidentally moved or to protect the central dial from being damaged?
