We used to make things in this country # 328 Wheel wrench

Kind of a minor Monday Mystery I guess... Marked only with the number J132 and stamped Made in Canada, this looks like a wheel wrench supplied by an unknown automobile manufacturer. Pressed steel construction always seems shoddy, but it is actually quite good quality. The end of the handle has a sharp edge for prying hub caps loose.

  1. Looks like the one supplied in my Dodge Caravan.
...And subsequently bent almost beyond recognition in a mis-guided attempt to use it for it's intended purpose.

  2. Why am I not surprised? Someone put the nuts on with an impact gun and now this is supposed to work? I was hoping it was older than that.... I have the opposite problem with my Odyssey with aluminum rims, they come loose regularly, and I've even lost nuts.

  3. It's a GM issue wrench for removing lug nuts. I want to say 3/4" . I had the same wrench with the Saturn SL1 and the Pontiac Grand Prix. Thick steel and reasonable quality.
