This was a project by the OSSA distributor in 1966. They took the Sport 175, stripped it of roadgoing trim and added a bigger carb, a pipe and fibreglass tank for racing flattrack and TTs. Apparently it worked quite well, though it didn't seem to become a popular choice for racers.

I would think that the up pipe would get a little uncomfortable making a series of left turns.

ReplyDeletethey should have painted the tank metal flake.
ReplyDeleteYes, the rake was extreme in the street bikes, they don't seem to have modifed the frame at all.
