The RCAF tries out a Huck's starter, a power alternative to manually turning a propeller to start an airplane engine. Looks safe!

  3. The aviation equivalent of the motorcycle starting rollers. I was at an airshow where a Corsair wouldn't quite go, saved by a pair of portable booster packs!

  4. Russians were big on using compressed air starters. Actually a great, simple, easy system compared to all that sparky stuff:)
