Style and grace

John Lennon's Rolls Royce Phantom V.  It's better in colour, below. The scheme was applied after thousands of miles of use in 1966 and 67 had worn the original finish. The design was executed in house paint in a Romany scheme by Steve Weaver.

Now part of the Royal British Columbia Museum collection, it has been in Canada since 1985. John Lennon said this car fulfilled his childhood dream of being an eccentric millionaire.
