Laminar and turbulent flow, by Hans Erni

Paul Jaray (1889–1974) was the first and a most important pioneer of aerodynamics for automobiles. His friend, Hans Erni, designed this drawing in 1935 to illustrate the schematic representation of laminar and turbulent flow. It was used in several publications at the time.
