Manly slip joint pliers

This is an impressively large set of slip-joint pliers, with size 11 shoe for scale. It features a positive but not very convenient pivot adjustment. Definitely looks blacksmith made, on the handle is stamped P.D. Hart, likely the owner.

  3. No need for apologies; it's still interesting. I like how they're referred to as the "original knuckle-busters" online.

  4. Dave, it seems we did more research on the first post! In my defence, it was 5 years ago- and besides, this was entirely a different tool- found in Maine. Thanks for finding that and pointing it out BTW.
