Built for show, not for go

These chrome plated bikes must have been built for the 60s show circuit, pretty sure they never ran.

  1. I saw more than a couple panhead Harleys with chromed cylinders and heads being run on the street. Conversely, my onetime boss built a unit BSA show bike whose carburetors were chromed inside and out -- sort of like bronzed baby shoes, in a way. I guess someone was on deadline and just threw the fully assembled carbs in the tank.
