Swoopy! Then came the Gold Wing.

Looks like its front end came from a Honda. So, yeah, a glimpse of evolution in progress or something.

I never loved those big frame-mounted fairings. They do funny things to my perception of the horizon. And I wonder if that seat exerted an undesirable suction-cup effect after a long ride on a warm day.

Does this look Art Deco inspired to anyone else? I like and appreciate properly executed design of that style, but this just doesn't do it for me.

Kinda reminds me of my 73 R75/5 with the long swing arm. It had an Avon full fairing with lower side panels that the cylinders stuck through and crash bars. Had the stock saddle and no saddle bags. Loved that bike until someone pulled out in front of me and I t-boned him. The bike was totaled, the car had to be towed and I got a ride in an ambulance to the hospital. Lucky to survive with minimal injuries. Still miss that bike.
